Season 4, Episode 39: "The Man in the Moon is You"

Rika: Taking Cherubimon out seemed like the end of our heroes' troubles, but this digimon named Baromon showed up with some BAD news! Super baddie Lucemon is coming back into the picture! Baromon predicted Lucemon would soon rule the Digital World with his two Royal Knights Crusadermon and Dynasmon doing all the dirty work. When the gang tried to stop these chumps, the Knights took our heroes to the cleaners. Baromon tried to shield the kids but ended up checking out. Even with MagnaGarurmon and EmperorGreymon on our side, the future's pretty much up in the air.
 
[Theme song, episode begins showing night time on a dark place. It is not the digital world, instead it is a land of rocky blue canyons, holes, and pits]
 
Patamon (pleads): Kouichi, wake up! Kouichi, please! Wake up!
 
[Patamon and Kouichi are shown at the bottom of one of the smaller deep canyons, Kouichi unconscious on the ground]
 
Kouichi: [comes to] Is that you, Patamon?
 
Patamon: Thank goodness! Hey guys, get over here, Kouichi's awake!
 
Bokomon: Really? [runs over with Neemon, panting]
 
Neemon: I hope you enjoyed naptime!
 
Kouichi (concerned): Where is everyone? Where's Koji?
 
Bokomon: Out cold, I'm afraid.
 
[Shows Tommy, Takuya, Zoe, JP, then Koji lying on the ground, totally out]
 
Bokomon: They've been like that for HOURS.
 
Neemon: They didn't even respond to my "Wake-y, wake-y little flakey dance!
 
Kouichi: [gasps when he sees Koji and runs over] Koji! [sinks to his knees] Oh man--please be ok!

 

Bokomon: I'm sure he'll be just fine, once he wakes up.
 
[Kouichi breathes shakily, then smiles]
 
Patamon: What should we do now?
 
Kouichi: We need to get these guys to a safe place, but...[sighs] Where in the world are we, anyway?
 
Neemon: Well...!
 
Bokomon: Uhh...
 
[Shows them look up and a sky filled with stars can be seen. They are at the bottom of a very deep hole...]
 
Neemon: I got it! We're at the bottom of a HOLE!!
 
Bokomon (dryly): What a brilliant deduction, Commander Obvious...
 
Kouichi: I'm going to go find us some help...[begins climbing canyon wall as Patamon, Neemon, and Bokomon make noises of worry and uncertainty] The air...is so thin...no--oxygen...uh! [begins to slip, cries out as he loses hold and falls]
 
Patamon: Oh!
 
Bokomon: Ahh!
 
Neemon: Oh no!
 
Kouichi: [yells as he falls] Huh--uh? [he soars upwards, bouncing straight up as though the walls were rubber] Hey! What's up with THIS? [bounces his way up the wall]
 
Patamon: Wow! How'd he do that?
 
Bokomon: Kouichi! Since when do YOU know how to fly?!
 
Kouichi: I don't know--but I dig it! [laughs, bounces straight up again, reaching the top of the small (but deep) crevice he had been at the bottom of] Whoa! [sees the Digital World in the sky] Time out! [Shows 2 of the 3 moons, but the third is not visible, indicating...] What is going on here? [headlights shine] Huh?
 
[An odd vehicle approaches, similar to a tank, and contains three Starmon]
 
Starmon 1: No offense little feller, but you've got that "human-in-the-headlights" look on ya! [laughs with a snort] Ya need a ride, don't cha?
 
Kouichi: Yeah, thanks! [climbs on and they start driving. Moments later...] We're WHERE? You're telling me--we're on the MOON?
 
Starmon 1: Yesiree, Mr. Greensleeves! This here's one of the 3 moons of the Digital World.
 
Digimon Analyzer and Ophanimon: Starmon! A helpful star-shaped Digimon. His special attack is Meteor Squall.
 
[Shows one Starmon aiding Tommy, the other, Zoe. They are all still unconscious.]
 
Kouichi: I guess that explains why I could jump so easily.
 
Patamon: What do you mean, Kouichi?

 

Kouichi: Well, the gravity here is a lot less than on earth, so we all weigh less.
 
Patamon: Oh, now I'm REALLY confused...
 
Bokomon: Weight loss by relocation is something I can live without...
 
Kouichi: I don't get it. How could we all get to the moon, anyway?

 

Starmon 2 (the one with Tommy): I couldn't say for sure, but you probably caught a warp from an observation point. That's how we got here! Uhh--huh...
 
[Shows a huge warp and the Digidestined flying, then a digimon who looks similar to a Starmon looking through a telescope saying, "Heads up, fellas, company's comin'..."]
 
Kouichi: Yeah! That makes sense...
 
Bokomon: Well, at least YOU'RE doing all right, Kouichi...It's amazing, you don't seem to be injured at all...
 
Kouichi: [observes his limbs] Yeah, you're right! But how come...I'm not?

 

Neemon: I guess you just got lucky!
 
Kouichi (thinking, not out loud): Why just me? Everyone else got hurt...
 
[show their arrival at the village of the Starmon, three domes that look much like snow globes without the snow.]
 
Starmon 1: Well, this is the moon base where we live. Welcome to home sweet dome! [snorts with laughter] Yeppers! It may not be much, but if you're into tubes and mountains, it's perfect. Now let's get your friends fixed up right!
 
[They step onto a sort of conveyer belt that carries them to where they want to go. Lights turn on, and each unconscious digidestined is placed on a scanning bed, of sorts, very high tech and containing lots of blinking lights. They are analyzed by Starmon scientists.]
 
Kouichi: So...do you really think they're going to be okay?

 

Starmon 1: Our scientists are very good, your friends are in great hands--don't worry!
 
Kouichi (sighs): Hm. [Koji is shown being worked on]
 
Starmon 1: Hup! The commander's calling. Let's get you to the bridge!
 
Neemon: There's a BRIDGE? I didn't even see the RIVER!
 
[Shows the digimon that is much like a Starmon in appearence, only he is a golden yellow, red, and white, and sounds quite like Elvis]
 
Superstarmon: Look at that there, man! Mm-hmm-mm! Shake it, don't break it, kiddies. [gives a thumbs up] Superstarmon at your service, baby--Uh-huh-uh!
 
Digimon Analyzer and Bokomon: Superstarmon, a legend in his own time. His special attack is Haley's Squall.
 
Superstarmon: Well thank you, thankyuhverymuch. Now listen, people, I have a favor to ask.
 
Bokomon: Oh? What is that?

 

Superstarmon: Well yuh see, the Digital World, it's deteriorating, baby! A little more every day. Now get a good look at that, man. [shows a piece of the Digital World disappear] Now that's where y'all came from, am I right, babbies? Uh, any idea what's happenin' down there, uh-huh-uh!
 
Kouichi: Yeah. The Royal Knights are to blame. [Shows Dynasmon digging fingers into the land, absorbing more data] They're scanning all the fractal code of the Digital World, in order to revive Lucemon.
 
Dynasmon: More data for Lucemon! [shows him dropping data sphere into a crevice back at the Digital World]
 
Superstarmon: They're doin' WHAT?!
 
[All Starmon frantically begin speaking, on is heard saying, "What about our old home?!"]
 
Kouichi: What old home?

 

Superstarmon (frantically): Our sweet little corner of the Digital World. [crosses arms] I-it'll get eaten faster than fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches, I'm tellin' ya, baby! [All Starmon gasp at this point.]
 
[Back at the Digital World, 2 data spheres descend into the darkness, out of which a voice arises.]
 
Lucemon: Give me more data--!
 
Dynasmon: As you command!
 
Crusadermon: You shall have all the data you require, and in exchange, you MUST keep your promise.
 
Lucemon: Of COURSE...when I am REVIVED, you shall HAVE what you DESIRE...
 
Crusadermon: [kneels on right knee] BEAUTIFUL, Lucemon...
 
Lucemon: But I FAIL to UNDERSTAND why you would want to GO to the HUMAN world...
 
Dynasmon: To CONTROL it! [eyes glow with blue flames of power and greed] The humans are WEAK, but their data is OH so sweet!
 
Lucemon: I see...
 
Crusadermon: We seek to do as you have taught us, to dominate the weak, to DESTROY anyone who would oppose us, to prove our worthiness to follow you.
 
Lucemon: Flattery will get you EVERYWHERE. Now bring me more data!
 
[Sound of distant thunder, back on the moon. Takuya has his hands pressed up against a window.]
 
Takuya: So we're on the MOON?!
 
Zoe: I can't believe it...
 
Kouichi: Well I couldn't either, but it's true!
 
[JP is shown the next window over, in same position as Takuya.]
 
JP: I guess...it isn't made out of cheese, huh?

 

Koji (extremely irritated and annoyed): NO.
 
Bokomon: [stamps foot] All right already! Now's not the time to get flaky! We've GOT to return to the Digital World and save it from Lucemon!
 
JP: And how exactly are we supposed to do that?
 
Patamon: Superstarmon said there are no terminals around so we can't take a trailmon!
 
Tommy: So that means we're STUCK here?

 

Takuya: No! There has to be a way back!
 
Koji (again extremely irritated and annoyed): And...that is?
 
[Slight pause during which Takuya just stands there]
 
Bokomon: You don't know, do you...?

 

Takuya (enthusiastic): Well...let's all brainstorm! We gotta come up with SOMETHIN', right??
 
[All go "Hmm" and start thinking intently]
 
Patamon: Let me get into MY thinking pose. [lands on ground and does] Huhmm!
 
Bokomon: Right! [crosses arms and closes eyes]
 
Neemon: [Falls asleep standing up, a bubble blowing in and out of his nose]
 
Bokomon: [Peeks out one eye at Neemon] Hoah! Oh would you WAKE UP! [yanks Neemon's pants and lets go with a snap, starting him awake. Neemon gives an alarmed cry]
 
[Shows view of digital world, or rather, what's left of it. Another area is deleted]
 
Takuya: [sound of alarm] Aw man, we gotta hurry! Spirit evolving may not help us think, but it's worth a shot!
 
Others: Mmm-hmm! [agreeing with a nod]
 
All digidestined: Execute! Spirit Evolution!
 
Agunimon: Ahr! Hah! Hah! Agunimon!
 
Lowemon: Arr-huh! Lowemon!
 
MetalKabuterimon: Metal Kabuterimon!
 
Kazemon: Haaa-mm! Kazemon!
 
KendoGarurumon: KendoGarurumon! Huarr!
 
Kumemon: Haaa--uhp! Ha ha. Kumemon! [peace sign]
 
[Shows Agunimon, ready, with dramatic music]
 
Agunimon: All right, everyone! Fire on my signal! And give it ALL ya got!
 
Lowemon: You got it! Ehrrr...Shadow Meteor!
 
MetalKabuterimon: Rollo Thunder!
 
Kazemon: Tempest--Twist!
 
Kumemon: Blizzard Blaster!
 
KendoGarurumon: Lupine Laser!
 
Agunimon: And last, but certainly not least...Pyro Punch!
 
[Shows all attacks streaming out into space. Slight pause.]
 
MetalKabuterimon: Well that oughta take care of...whatever we were shooting at!
 
[All watch intently, waiting for something to happen.]
 
KendoGarurumon: What exactly WERE we shooting at anyway?
 
Agunimon: Well...nothing specific, we were just firing THAT way.
 
KendoGarurumon: Now I'm confused AND annoyed!
 
MetalKabuterimon: And what WERE ya tryin' to do, genius?!

 

Agunimon: [scratches forehead] I don't know, I thought if we all fired in one direction, maybe we could move the moon.
 
[A picture is shown of the Digital World and its 3 moons to illustrate what he means]
 
Agunimon: Y'know! We could use the force of our attacks to nudge it closer to the Digital World!
 
[Shows MetalKabuterimon wide-eyed, his pupils tiny dots]
 
MetalKabuterimon: [short growl] WHAT?!
 
Agunimon: [scratches head] Well at least we gave it out best shot! [begins laughing. Kazemon begins walking away in disgust, hands on hips]
 
Kazemon: C'mon you guys. Let's go.
 
[Agunimon is still laughing, says, "Genius! I'll give it my best shot!"]
 
Kumemon: [grunts in exasperation]
 
MetalKabuterimon: That's just wrong...
 
Kazemon: He's lost it.
 
[Agunimon finally notices and stops laughing]
 
Agunimon: Hey! Wait up you guys! [runs]
 
[Shows Kumemon taking leaps and hopping on the ground]
 
Kumemon: Up! [lands, leaps] Up! [lands, leaps] And away!! [goes shooting off, but begins to drop] Or not...! Wa!! [lands on rear end and bounces] Whoa!
 
Meteormon 1: So. Whaddaya think he's doin'?
 
Meteormon 2: I don't know, but it sure is funny to watch! Hacha...!
 
[Shows Kumemon's second attempt, running off a cliff]
 
Kumemon: One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready--mmf! [kicks off the edge] And here we gooooo! [falls again, flat on his face, bouncing a bit. Meteormon are watching in crowds]
 
Meteormon 2: Hey! Look! He bounced!
 
[Kumemon's third attempt is climbing up a tall thin rod and launching himself off--even less successful. He drops almost immediately, moaning, onto his back, still more Meteormon watching]
 
[Shows two Burgermon cooking. One is slicing tomatoes on the left, and on the right, one is frying star-shaped crackers.]
 
Burgermon: Crackers! Get your hot crackers here!
 
[Shows outside of their stand. The banner reads "Space Burger" and outside a young Burgermon skips in place with a sign that reads "Space Shake"]
 
Young Burgermon: Don't forget to try our bouncing bear special! You'll love it!
 
Burgermon: Order Lunch, number one, hold the pickles!
 
Meteormon 1: I'll take a Space Burger with cheese!
 
Meteormon 2: Yeah, make that two, for me! [laughs]
 
[Shows Kumemon on another bumpy landing. He moans. Meteormon are watching on nearby hillside while eating burgers, as though it were some kind of spectator sport.]
 
Kumemon: I give up!
 
Agunimon: Well...nice try...
 
Kumemon: MMmm...
 
KendoGarurumon: Leave this to me...[wheels spin fast, he zooms off cliff and flys toward the Digital World. All watch with baited breath]
 
Bokomon: [laughs in disbelief] LOOK! He made it!
 
[Shows strong electric stream]
 
Agunimon: I think he's in trouble!
 
[Shows KendoGarurumon getting electrocuted and his data shows. Everyone is alarmed]
 
Agunimon: Koji, NO!!
 
[Eventually KendoGarurumon is flung out of the atmosphere, and lands back on the moon. Everyone runs over to him as he struggles to get up]
 
Lowemon: Koji! Are you ok?!
 
Agunimon: What the heck happened to you up there?
 
KendoGarurumon: I got stuck in something...It drained all my energy. It was all I could do to keep from de-digivolving.
 
Meteormon 1: That would be the Electro-magnetic Stream.
 
Meteormon 2: Yep. It's the Stream.
 
[All other Meteormon babble in agreement.]
 
Bokomon and Digimon Analyzer: Gotsumon. This digimon eats Meteor Burgers. His special attack is Cosmo Flash.
 
Meteormon 1: The Stream is a river of energy in space that seperates US from the Digital World. It's flow is changed by the pole of the moons, and no one's ever crossed it.
 
Kazemon: But we must have crossed it okay, I mean, we're all here, aren't we?
 
Lowemon: Yes, and no.
 
Kazemon: Huh?
 
Lowemon: We must have by-passed it. We got here through a warp created by the Royal Knight's attacks.
 
Agunimon: [shoulders sag, head droops despairingly] Great! Which means we're never gonna find a NORMAL way to get off this stupid rock!
 
[Kazemon walks under a bright star, clasps hands as she speaks]
 
Kazemon: Starlight...star bright...get us off this rock tonight!
 
Burgermon 1: Oh dear!
 
Kazemon: Huh? [looks over to see a cluster of Burgermon gazing at the Digital World]
 
Burgermon 1: I sure am worried.
 
Young Burgermon: I hope they're all right.
 
Kazemon: Hey, you guys are Burgermon, aren't you?
 
Bokomon and Digimon Analyzer: Burgermon! A digimon with a burger-shaped head.
 
Kumemon: Well you guys must have crossed the Stream, right?
 
Burgermon 2: Oh, why would we? The moon is where all we Burgermon come from.
 
KendoGarurumon: But we saw Burgermon down on the Digital World!
 
Kazemon: They were very nice to us.
 
Young Burgermon: My goodness. [dances in excitement] You saw them?! Those were our friends who moved down there!
 
Kazemon: Oh, I see!
 
Young Burgermon: But we haven't heard from them in forever.
 
[Shows Digital World, another piece of land vanishes from sight. Back on the Digital World, herds of Elecmon and flocks of Poromon run/fly for dear life as the lands behind them get absorbed.]
 
Crusadermon: Beautiful! At this rate we should gather enough data for Lucemon in no time! [laughs and throws sphere into crevice]
 
[Back on the moon...]
 
Agunimon (insanely shouts at top of lungs): [punches rock with frustrated scream] THERE'S GOT TO BE A WAY OUTTA HERE!!
 
KendoGarurumon: Calm down.
 
Agunimon (screams): [spins around] HOW CAN I BE CALM AT A TIME LIKE THIS?!
 
Kazemon: Hang on a second. You said your friends moved to the Digital World? How did they get down there?
 
Young Burgermon: Simple! They built a rocket!
 
MetalKabuterimon: That's the ticket! [Shows calculations written in the soil] Ok, let's see...times the square root of pi, divided by 5, carry the 2...[others gather around him]
 
Lowemon: Where'd you get those equations?

 

MetalKabuterimon: I saw them in a book!
 
Lowemon (sarcastic): THAT'S reassuring.
 
[Show Agunimon inside of MetalKabuterimon's cannon]
 
Agunimon (nervous, worried): Hey...! Are you SURE this is gonna work?

 

MetalKabuterimon: [taking aim] Course it will! Trust me! All right, here we go! 5...4...3...2...1, Blast off!
 
[He shoots out Agunimon, who goes soaring, whooping, then all of a sudden he stops and his head turns down with his feet straight up in the air. Agunimon nose dives, yelling all the way until impact. A cloud of dust and soot goes everywhere in the distance where he lands.]
 
MetalKabuterimon:[watches disastrous result, large sweatdrop slides down cannon towards his face] Yy--ok...eh...maybe it was...divide by two, carry the pi! [consults calculations] If at first you don't succeed...[shouts] Hey Agunimon!! You ready to try again?!
 
[Though Agunimon is far away, a small frame is shown, outlined in bright pink, for viewer's benefit of a close up view of him. He's absolutely outraged.]
 
Agunimon: [hollers while juming up and down in a frenzy, with a springing sound] No!! I can't beleive I let you talk me into it the first time, Metal Head!!
 
MetalKabuterimon: Aw, c'mon. [others walk away]
 
KendoGarurumon: There's gotta be a better answer.
 
Kazemon: I should hope so...
 
MetalKabuterimon: I'd let YOU guys shoot me out of a cannon! Come on! It'll work this time! [rushes after them]
 
[Shows KendoGarurumon speeding off in the distance, Kazemon flying. Then Kumemon is shown.]
 
Agunimon: [runs up to him] YOU got any ideas?

 

Kumemon: Hmm...
 
[begins showing others seperately]
 
Kazemon: [half sighs, half moans]
 
Lowemon: [walks to edge of land to look down valley below. His eyes widen] Hey! What is THAT?
 
[Meanwhile, where MetalKabuterimon is, a white rocket is shown blasting off; it was just a model, however]
 
MetalKabuterimon: Fire!! See, I knew it! That worked, no problem! [he sketches a picture of the rocket on the ground] And those guys doubted me. This is definately the answer! We just need to build a rocket big enough to carry us all!
 
[Shows Lowemon, arms crossed, others gathering around him, except for MetalKabuterimon]
 
Lowemon: I just looked down, and there it was.
 
Agunimon: I can't...believe it!
 
KendoGarurumon: Amazing!
 
MetalKabuterimon (excitedly): [rushes toward them, holding rock containing his picture of a rocket] Hey! You guys! Check it out! I know how to get us back to the Digital World! You gonna LOVE this!! All we have to do it build ourselves--
 
Agunimon: A rocket?
 
[screen shows a rocket embedded into the ground below where they are standing. Two craters nearby look like eyes, the rocket jutting out looks like a nose, and a big smile has been carved underneath, forming a smiley face.]
 
MetalKabuterimon: Yeah!! [turns confused, startled, and surprised] How'd you know? [sees rocket protruding from ground] Hey! Where'd THAT come from?!
 
Burgermon: Our friends built it.
 
Agunimon: Huh?
 
Burgermon: That's the one they used for testing, but as you can see, it didn't work so good.
 
Agunimon: Hey! Can...we use it?

 

Burgermon: Of course you can!
 
KendoGarurumon: Then what are we waiting for?
 
Agunimon: Let's get that thing outta the ground!
 
Burgermon: It's pretty heavy...maybe we can help.
 
[A line of Meteormon are behind the Burgermon]
 
All Meteormon: Yeah! We'll help you too!
 
Agunimon: Thanks, guys, we'd appreciate it.
 
Burgermon: If we help you get back to the Digital World, maybe YOU can help our friends down there!
 
[A pulley system is shown, attached to the imbedded rocket. MetalKabuterimon, KendoGarurumon, Agunimon, Lowemon, Neemon and Bokomon (both in midair and not really helping), many Burgermon, the group of Meteormon, and last, Patamon are shown pulling on the rope to heave rocket out of the ground. Cheers are made as it works]
 
Agunimon: [wipes forehead] Yeah!! We finally got it out of the ground!
 
KendoGarurumon: Now how do we launch it?
 
MetalKabuterimon: We could...umm...
 
[shows one of the tank-vehichles approaching fast, carrying Superstarmon, many Starmon, and Kumemon]
 
Kazemon: [flying over them] We could answer that!
 
Kumemon: Yeah! We know how EXACTLY to get us up in space!
 
Agunimon: All right! How?
 
Kazemon: We can use those! [points to something]
 
[Bokomon and Neemon look]
 
Bokomon: Huh...? [cocks head to the side]
 
[Shows Starmon taking the tread bands off the wheels of the tanks while the Meteormon glue them together.]
 
Superstarmon: Like the style, there, people! Lookin' good, there. That's right, honey!
 
Agunimon: I get it! We glue those bands together, and make a giant slingshot!
 
[Briefly shows picture of a giant Kumemon using slingshot, shoots rocket back to the Digital World]
 
Kumemon: [laughs]
 
Superstarmon: All right, now, check it out! When those two moons line up with the Digital World, the Electro-magnetic Stream will form a path that'll bring ya right on home, baby!
 
Patamon: Um...are you super sure about that?
 
Superstarmon: Super is as super does. A fool such as I could never lie, my little hounddog. You got one shot, but hit it right, and it's "Return to Sender." Thank you! Thankyuhverymuch!
 
Patamon: [half sighs, half moans]
 
[Shows the giant slingshot with the rocket waiting to be launched]
 
Zoe: Wow! A few repairs, and one big elastic band, and this ship's ready to fly!
 
Tommy: Cool!
 
Takuya: Thanks for your help, everybody.
 
Burgermon: And thank YOU for heloing our friends on the Digital World. You WILL do that, won't you?
 
Koji: We promise.
 
[Show all Burgermon, Starmon, and Meteormon cheering and waving. Takuya gives the thumbs up, and the glass closes around the Digidestined, who are now in the rocket with their 3 digimon companions]
 
Takuya: Ok, guys! Next stop, the Digital World!
 
All: Mmm!
 
[Show two moons aligning]
 
Kouichi: Well, we may not remember how we got here, but we're sure gonna remember getting back!
 
Zoe: The moons are aligned.
 
JP: Yeah.
 
Tommy (nervously): Oh wow, this is exciting!
 
Bokomon: This waiting is UNBEARABLE.
 
Neemon: Let's have a singalong! Who knows "Wheels on the Bus? [sings] The wheels on the bus--
 
[shows crowd on the moon]
 
Burgermon: Here we go!
 
Superstarmon: Rock n' roll! [attacks the chain keeping the rocket anchored] Haley's Squall!
 
[Rocket goes soaring]
 
All: [Yell and brace themselves]
 
[Crowd below waves and shouts goodbye. Over the din, Superstarmon speaks]
 
Superstarmon: The ride may be bumpy, honey, but don't get all shook up now, uh-huh-uh!
 
[Shows rocket beginning to dip lower than expected course]
 
Bokomon: This doesn't feel right...
 
JP: We don't have enough speed!
 
Takuya: Don't worry, I'm all over it! [gets up]
 
[Takuya begins evolution]

BurningGreymon: BurningGreymon!!
 
[BurningGreymon latches on under the rocket and bolsters it up]
 
BurningGreymon: Wildfire Tsunami!! [The attack is effective, the rocket lifts]
 
Zoe: We're gaining speed! Way ta go, Takuya!
 
Koji: Nice work!
 
[Shows Takuya back in the rocket, steering]
 
Takuya: Now we're right back on target!
 
[Pass through Stream, getting slightly electrocuted. All grit teeth and groan]
 
Takuya: We're almost through it! Ugh! [the rocket passes through]
 
Zoe: All right! We're safe!
 
Kouichi: Not for long... [points to...an asteroid field!]
 
Takuya (alarmed): Huh!
 
JP: Oh man, an asteroid belt!
 
Takuya: MORE good news...! [others cry out] Ahh!
 
JP: Full speed ahead!
 
[The rocket avoids some asteroids, and then...]
 
JP: Here comes a big one!
 
Takuya: Hold on!
 
[All shout as rocket begins to spin around in Stream, getting electocuted, then flung out]
 
Takuya: We're out of the stream again!
 
[Rocket is now floating in space]
 
Bokomon: But we're okay--huh! Neemon, what ARE you doing!
 
Neemon: Standing on the ceiling. Why?
 
[Shows inside of rocket, where Tommy's hat floats off his head as he himself floats in the air]
 
Tommy: Hey this is fun! [laughs and laughs]
 
Neemon: You go up, it goes down...!
 
Koji: [arms crossed, exceedingly annoyed] Yeah, this COULD be fun, but I'm OVER it already--!
 
[Shows JP and Zoe. Zoe is having trouble with her skirt staying in place, as she is floating upside down. JP, blushing like she is, tries not to look]
 
Zoe (frantically): My skirt keeps falling up--I mean down--I mean up--oh whatever, just nobody look!!
 
Takuya: YOU heard her, JP.
 
JP: [actually innocent] Uh? What're you lookin' at ME for?!
 
[Shows Kouichi, Bokomon, and Patamon. A growling noise is heard, and there's a crash. They turn around in alarm and see that they are on a track high above the Digital World, leading down to it.]
 
Mole Trailmon: Excuse me, but you are in my way.
 
Takuya: Wait you guys, it's a trailmon! [hands on glass at the back of the rocket]
 
[Trailmon continues head-butting the rocket]
 
Mole Trailmon: Move it, please, road hog!
 
Tommy: Whoa...
 
[Zoe pounds on glass]
 
Zoe: Um, excuse me! Would you mind giving us a little push home?
 
Mole Trailmon: Well, I suppose I could leap over you, but that seems like an awful lot of work. [Grunts and begins pushing, the metal grading, sounding like nails on a chalkboard] Pushing it is...
 
Zoe: Gratzi, Mr. Trailmon!
 
Mole Trailmon: My nose is gonna be so sore tomorrow...
 
[Another piece of the Digital World is absorbed. Shows Crusadermon briefly]
 
Takuya: Ah!!
 
Koji: Would you look at the damage they've done!
 
[Shows Crusadermon, then Dynasmon, dropping one data sphere each into crevice]
 
JP: At the rate they're going, there won't be much of the Digital World left to save!
 
[Out of the darkness back on the Digital World...]
 
Lucemon: [laughs softly] Ah ha, yes...my strength is growing...it won't be long now...
 
[Shows rocket again]
 
Koji: Now that we're back, we got a score to settle with those Royal Knights!
 
Takuya: And Lucemon! We're not gonna lose twice! The whole Digital World is counting on us!
 
[Shows what's left of the Digital World]
