The episode starts with Koji in a Trailmon examining his D-tector. He gets off at a stop and falls asleep.
The next morning Takuya and the gang are walking on a Trailmon track. They try to get a ride on a Trailmon, but the Trailmon says that they are tickling him and he drives off. When they come to a fork in the track Takuya and Zoe split up. J.P. went with Zoe and Tommy went with Takuya. Bokomon and Neemon go with Zoe and J.P.
Zoe and J.P. end up in Breezy Village where they see Koji sitting on a bench. He disappears into the forest. They meet some Floramon and the Floramon use their heads to give them some lunch. The Floramon tell their story.
Long ago Breezy Village was a beautiful place. We were a popular tourist attraction. One of our business partners were the three Mushroomon brothers. Then things went bad. The Mushroomon turned against us. They wrecked everything. Every time we try to build something new, they come and rip it up.
Zoe and J.P. start planting flowers. The Mushroomon appear. They throw miniature mushrooms at the Floramon and everybody starts laughing. Zoe tries reasoning with them but J.P. accidently insults them and the Mushroomon attack.
J.P.’s D-tector reveals a spirit and when it looks like J.P. is going to Spirit Evolve, Zoe’s D-tector starts reacting and J.P. stumbles. Zoe calls out his name and the spirit comes to her.
She Spirit Evolves into Kazemon, the Legendary Warrior of Wind. She handles the Mushroomon easily, but when they digivolve to Woodmon, things get a little more difficult. He knocks her to the ground and she de-evolves.
Koji sees the lights and Spirit Evolves to Lobomon. He takes care of Woodmon and scans his Fractal Code. His D-tector gives up the Fractal Code and makes Breezy Village beautiful again. Zoe offers to help Koji, but he refuses.
Meanwhile, Takuya and Tommy are on a flat plain. they’re walking along the Trailmon track and suddenly the ground splits up. Tommy instantly screams and runs the other way, being careful not to fall. Takuya follows him. Both of them go back to Breezy Village.
The Floramon and the Mushroomon are just starting to chit-chat when Takuya and Tommy come racing towards them. Zoe tells them that they missed something and they, of course, didn’t believe her. Zoe tells them she Spirit Evolved. They didn’t know if a girl could Spirit Evolve. J.P. backs away from the conversation and we hear him thinking he’s left out. Rika wraps it up.
