Trivia compiled by Kari
This page mainly consists of trivia in the English dub. There's more, as well as trivia from other languages, on the new Digital Mistakes page.
All Seasons
In every season, the Digimon become more connected with their partners: Adventure
- Digidestined and Digimon; 02 - Digimon fuse together; Tamers - Digidestined
and Digimon fuse; Frontier - Digidestined become Digimon.
-sent in by Eliana
In their English names, Kari and Rika have all the same letters in their names,
just in a different order.
In every season, at least one of the Digidestined and/or Digimon is bad at some
point, but becomes good: Adventure - Matt and Gabumon / MetalGarurumon, 02 -
Ken, Tamers - Rika and Impmon / Beelzemon, Frontier - Kouichi with Corrupted
Spirits.
There are a total of 205 episodes of Digimon, as well as 7 movies (4 of which
have only been released in Japan).
Leomon has the same voice in every season he appears in.
Adventure (Season 1)
The doll that Etemon carries with him is a Monzaemon. MetalEtemon has a WaruMonzaemon
doll.
Both Kari and Tai's Digimon's Baby forms are a Botamon (Botamon & SnowBotamon).
In "Princess Karaoke", ShogunGekomon is referred to as Shogunmon.
When Kari finds out that Gatomon is her Digimon she says that they don't allow
animals in her building, but she has a pet cat.
After Apocalymon de-digivolves the Digimon, Matt says "they're rookies";
Gatomon is a champion.
In episode 19, while Tai and the others are in the pyramid, right before it shows
Tai messing with the Gazimon's minds, he starts talking in Sora's voice.
In the last episode of Adventure before the kids leave the Digimon "for
good" Taichi and Agumon speak of the lake, which they say is the first
place he used his Fire Ball attack (episode 2). But really, the attack appeared
in the very first episode twice, all though I can't remember if he said the
attack like he used to do, but it is the same. Baby Flame!

When Palmon is dreaming about the cactus and a cactus mirage appears, it shows
everyone running for the cactus, but you see a Patamon flying to it right by
Mimi and it should be Tokomon.

Digimon 02 (Season 2)
02 is the only season without a Digivolution gone wrong (01 - SkullGreymon,
03 - Megidramon, 04 - Flamon).
A Pegasus is described as a white horse with wings, yet Pegasusmon is mostly
brownish. (JA's addition: And goldish.)
When Veemon and Terriermon crash into the billboard during the fight against
Endigomon in Digimon: the Movie, it shows DemiVeemon on the ground instead
of Veemon.
In "Davis Cries Wolfman", when Davis has the basketball and TK takes
it from him they're wearing the same colour shirt, but they're on different
teams.

In "Guardian Angel", Patamon on
TK's arms said "I'll have two cheeseburgers and a large order of fries",
when in the original lines and even in the Spanish dub what Patamon really
said was "I
knew the Ultimate digimon was too powerful".

In "Guardian Angel", Davis
tried to use a fake coin to make TK leave so he could save Kari on his own.
TK grabbed the coin from Davis and told him that is a fake coin since he tricked
Matt with a coin like that to win Matt's old guitar, in the original version
and
again in the Spanish dub what TK told Davis was "this is a trick coin, they
are on sale on Kadoetsu".

In "Digimon: The Movie", there are two clocks in the subway showing different
times.

In the first episode Davis knew the evolution without anyone explaining it
to him. The original lines, where Veemon explained about the evolution to him,
were cut.

[Swedish dub] In the last episode of 02 they said that Daisuke started
a hot dog stand, when it showed the noodle cart. I don't know why, but they
dubbed
the
dub.
YUCK!!!

Tamers (Season 3)
In "The Digimon Express Runs Wild," although the movie comes after the series,
Beelzemon's bike, Behemoth, appears, despite having been destroyed by Gallantmon
in episode 36, "The Battle Within."
All the Digimon Sovereign have 4 eyes.
In "Such Sweet Sorrow," MarineAngemon is the only Digimon that doesn't revert
to in-training form.
In "The Messenger" Takato's D-Power/Arc keeps changing from his old red one to
his new gold one. This mainly happens in the last 5-10 minutes.
Frontier (Season 4)
In episode 50 of season 4 ("End of the Line"), Susanoomon yells "And
so it ends!" while destroying Lucemon Satan Mode, supposedly making a reference
to the very first episode of Digimon in season 1 ("And So It Begins").
When BurningGreymon is holding Tommy in "Fear and Loathing in Los Arboles", Tommy
recalls a similar event that happened with him, but according to that episode
(where Kumamon attacks) Tommy has no memory of that event. So Tommy says "remember
when that happened?" even though he doesn't remember.
Takuya knew that Kouji's brother's name was Kouichi when Kouji hadn't even told
him.
In the movie "Revival of the Ancient Digimon" Kazemon appears when she should
not be able to, as Zoe is not in possession of her H-Spirit after Grumblemon
stole it in episode 10, and she did not regain it until 14 (and this movie takes
place around episode 12).
When the episode "The Brothers Yin and Yang" begins, the kids are on a piece
of the yellow moon. However, later on, they're standing on a piece of the red
moon.
On "End of the Line", right before the team of 5 becomes Susanoomon for the last
time, they raise their D-tectors. When they do so, there are 6 of them (5 + Kouichi's
D-Tector makes 6). However Kouichi's D-Tector becomes non-existent after he gives
his spirits to Kouji. To see this, you are going to have to pause it or just
slow down the film of it.
The Togemon in episode 8 of Frontier, "The Odd One Out" has the same voice as
Crusadermon.
In Digimon Frontier, Lucemon Falldown Mode absorbs Kouichi's fractal code, which
according to Crusadermon is impossible because "data comes only from those with
a physical form," which Kouichi didn't have while in the Digital World.
In "The Odd One Out," all the Digimon from the school are the in-training or
baby forms of the DigiDestined in seasons 1, 2 and 3.
In episode 47, Lopmon's and Salamon's eggs hatch. It shows Nyaromon evolving
to Lopmon and Chocomon evolving to Salamon, but it should be the other way
round (Nyaromon->Salamon, Chocomon->Lopmon).
