| VA | Voice actor, the person who provides the voice for a character in a cartoon or animation. Japanese voice actors are also known as seiyuu. |
| XD | It isn't an abbreviation, but lots of people have asked me about it. It's a smiley - a grin with closed eyes, like a really big grin. |
