Katsuharu, Teppei, Terou and Chiaki (hereafter known as KTTC) are four children who refuse to return to the real world when told to by Ophanimon, and run around the Digital World having "adventures". As a result, an Angemon is forced by circumstance to protect them.

Katsuharu is the oldest and biggest of the four kids. Bespectacled Teppei is his best friend. In the real world, Katsuharu and Teppei bullied Tommy. Terou and the pigtailed Chiaki are quieter kids who follow the lead of the others.

Eventually, Katsuharu and Teppei become Tommy's friends. KTTC are kidnapped by the Royal Knights, and agree to return to the real world after being rescued by their new friend Tommy and the other Digidestined.

It's rumoured that KTTC are the true holders of the spirits of the four evil hybrids, but I guess we'll never really know... (Chiaki - water, Katsuharu - earth, Teppei - wood, Terou - steel)
